Four years after the success of the Baie du Cap Centre which was donated by Mr. Shardanand Sukky, a generous well-wisher of ISKCON, Mr. Sukky made another generous offer: the use of a beautiful, spacious building purposefully built as a preaching centre on Mosque Road, Rose-Belle. The Centre was opened on the 23rd of March 2002.

Sri Sri Nitai Sachinanda Gaura Sundar (Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda) are the presiding Deities of the Centre.

Activities At The Centre

 Srimad-Bhagavatam class every Friday from 7 p.m to 10 p.m

 Music class by the Bhakti Vaishnava Academy (vocals, harmonium, violin, guitar, mridanga) on Saturday from 10 a.m to noon.

 Sunday Feast, every Sunday from 2 p.m to 5.30 p.m

 Children’s Gurukul from 3 p.m to 4.30 p.m every Sunday

 Main festivals are usually celebrated at the centre on the Sunday following the actual festival date

 During the Easter and summer holidays there are spiritual activities for the children and youth

 During the most sacred month of Kartik there is an ecstatic programme every evening with offering of lamps to Damodar-Krishna
