HH Bhakti Chaitanya Maharaja's Oct 09 Visit to Mauritius
His Holiness Bhakti Chaitanya Maharaja, co-GBC for Mauritius, visited the island from the 1st to 5th of October.
He was warmly greeted at the airport by a bus of devotees. Although a separate vehicle was waiting to bring Maharaja to his destination, Maharaja chose to travel in the bus of devotees. It was a long, but blissful drive to Amar and Deepa Dasani's residence in Flacq where he was to spend the next few days.
Amar and Deepa had made elaborate arrangements at their home for Maharaja to give a seminar on the importance of devotee association on the evenings of Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October. It was well attended and appreciated.
On Sunday 4th Maharaja bestowed his mercy on the devotees by allowing them to celebrate his Vyasa-puja at the Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Mandir. The devotees rarely get the opportunity to celebrate the Vyasa-puja of their spiritual master in his presence so they were very blissful to celebrate Maharaja's Vyasa-puja.
While residing in Flacq, Maharaja had a daily morning programme of collective japa, kirtan and Srimad-Bhagavatam class.
You may find recordings of the classes and the seminar here
